So far, iPhone 12 rumors have heralded what we can expect in the next iPhone's display and rear camera array. However, one that has been flying around under the radar is the possibility of a navy blue iPhone 12.

ConceptsiPhone has done a pretty slick mockup of a video showing what a navy blue clad iPhone 12 Pro would look like along with all the features we've come to expect from Apple's next flagship. And that is the color we are now looking for in the next generation iPhone.

While the OnePlus 8 Pro and Samsung's Galaxy Note 10 Plus have some pretty flashy color options, especially the latter's iridescent Aura Glow color option, the iPhone tends to play it a little safer with its color scheme.

Indeed, the iPhone 11 Pro offers attractive gold and midnight green options. And the iPhone 11 is available in four candy-like shades. But when you think of "iPhone," you probably think of sliver or space gray phones.

So the flagship iPhone 12 in navy blue will certainly mix things up a bit. And we feel it's an ideal color to fit the iPhone 12's design, which is said to draw inspiration from the iPhone 5's flat metal edges.

It promises to give the next iPhone a sharper aesthetic, reminiscent of the industrial design that propelled the early iPhones into the stratosphere and arguably made it very difficult for companies like Samsung to keep up until the Galaxy S6 came along.

The video also shows off some of the other features expected in the iPhone 12 Pro. These include a smaller notch in the display, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a 10-bit screen supporting up to 1 billion colors.

The back of the iPhone 12 Pro also features four cameras, including an ultra-wide shooter and a powerful zoom lens that sits alongside the main wide-angle camera. It also includes a LiDAR scanner, which will be used for augmented reality (AR) applications.

This iPhone 12 Pro feature previews other rumored features such as a powerful new A14 Bionic chip and 5G connectivity. Overall, this concept iPhone 12 Pro looks quite realistic, and we can see the navy blue hue of the iPhone 12 Pro hitting shoppers when it is released this fall.
