Apple AirPods3 is "ready to shipき and the new iMac too

Apple AirPods 3 and iMac 2020 are in production and ready to ship anytime now, according to a new leak from one of the most reliable Apple informants in recent times.

Tech YouTuber Jon Prosser said today (May 6) that even though Apple has already delivered the iPhone SE 2020 and MacBook Pro 2020 (13-inch) in recent weeks, "iMac and AirPods are still ready to ship." He tweeted. Prosser said the next-generation iMac and AirPods could debut "any day."

Prosser has established a rather impressive track record when it comes to sharing accurate Apple information. It is reasonable to assume that refreshed AirPods and a new iMac will be announced soon, but we don't know much about what to expect.

The latest AirPods rumors paint an uncertain picture of where Apple intends to take its wearable audio business next. Five different device names are floating around the Internet: the AirPods X, AirPods Pro Lite, AirPods 3, AirPods Pro 2, and Apple Over-Ear Headphones.

The latter three seem the most legitimate. According to top analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the AirPods 3, a second-generation version of the premium AirPods Pro, and Apple Over-Ear Headphones will be available between now and the end of 2021.

However, Kuo said that the over-ear headphones will go into production in the summer, with the AirPods 3 and AirPods Pro 2 to follow. This is not consistent with Prosser's timeline.

Regarding the iMac 2020, recent leaks predicted that a 23-inch Apple iMac would appear later this year. This is a new screen size for the iMac. Another interesting rumor is the possibility of an Apple gaming PC. Reports of Chinese supply chain activity suggest that Apple may be preparing a high-end gaming desktop.

At last year's WWDC, Apple unveiled a beastly Mac Pro. At WWDC 2020, which will be held online next month, it may slide a new iMac into the same slot.

Whether we'll see a new iMac or AirPods by then remains to be seen, but leave it to Apple to dazzle us with a shipment-ready device ready for immediate release.
