How to Watch Billions Season 5 Online: Start Time, Cast, Channels

Continuing the big game of this financial feud, watch season 5 of Billions online tonight as the Showtime drama returns for a new season, and we're excited because Billions is back with its rooting rivalry: ax vs. chuck.

Season 5 of Billions kicks off Sunday night with a new financial crisis, new feuds, and new faces. Bobby Axelrod (Damian Lewis) and Chuck Rhodes (Paul Giamatti) were allies in Season 4, but now they have renewed their rivalry.

Chuck is troubled by the dissolution of his marriage to Wendy (Maggie Siff) and his continued bond with Bobby. He is also frustrated that Bobby, as New York Attorney General, pressured him to arrest Taylor Mason (Asia Kate Dillon), a brilliant up-and-comer. So, as revenge, Chuck sent Taylor back to Axe Capital as a double agent.

Meanwhile, Bobby has reached a major milestone and is not too depressed about his recent breakup. However, he knows he has to be careful with Taylor. He also has a new rival in Mike Prince (Corey Stoll), a business leader with very different ideas.

As Stoll told Entertainment Weekly, "From the very first scene, we're sparring. He has the same competitive spirit as Axe, but tempered by a drive to do good. There is a lot of conflict between Prince and the other characters, but even stronger is the battle within himself to be both a capitalist and a good person."

Prince is not the only newcomer to Billions Season 5. Former "The Good Wife" star Julianna Margulies also joins the cast as sociology professor Katherine "Cat" Brandt, who hits it off with Chuck when she asks him to guest lecture on BDSM revelations.

Production on the first seven episodes of Season 5 of Billions was completed before the pandemic shut down Hollywood. It is scheduled to air this spring. The remaining five episodes will air later this year.
