The PS5DualSense controller will be a "game changer," says the developer of Dying Light2

While we're still waiting to see the final design of the PS5, Sony recently revealed the DualSense, the radical controller that will be bundled with the new console, and it's not the same PlayStation controller we've become accustomed to since the launch of the original DualShock back in 1998.

In an interview with PushSquare, the developer of "Dying Light 2" shares his first impressions. Spoiler alert: he's excited.

"Haptic feedback and adaptive triggers have the potential to change games more than people expect right now," said Tymon Smektela, lead game designer at studio Techland. 'I'm concerned about the overall sturdiness. It looks very sophisticated, so I'm not sure if it can withstand an accidental fall or an outburst. But overall, it looks really great to me, although I know initial opinions were mixed.

Unfortunately, Smektala did not elaborate on how he and his team feel they can use these new features in Dying Light 2, which is already set for release on PS5 and has been delayed indefinitely. But at least Smektala seems to like the two-tone color scheme.

"I absolutely love it, it's a great design, futuristic as we should expect in 2020, the era of science fiction we are already living in," Smektala said.

"As for the shape, we'll have to see how it fits in your hand, but it just has a really nice vibe to it when you look at it. It's big enough and at the same time clean and funky, and I think it has the potential to be the best thing ever.

We'll soon get a chance to try out the PlayStation 5 controller when it launches in the holiday season of 2020, and for the latest news on the PS5, stay tuned for the latest PS5 news as it is updated from time to time.
