We've all experienced it: we have dozens of Google Chrome tabs open at once and completely lose track of the tabs we really need right now. Fortunately, Google has a new solution to our tab hoarding problem.

As discovered by Laptop Mag, Google's new tab grouping feature is rolling out in the Chrome 81 build of the popular web browser. This feature allows users to group tabs like files in a folder and label each one individually.

Whether it's a work group for all the websites you need for work, or an entertainment group for your favorite YouTube videos, Twitch streams, and gaming websites, tab groups are a great tool for people who tend to have a cluttered array of tabs

Tab Groups is one of the more significant upgrades to Google Chrome in recent years. With the new version of Microsoft Edge making a difference to Google's browser, this tool will go a long way to keep people from switching to Google's browser.

Furthermore, tab groups can be created with just a few clicks, and as long as you have the latest version of Chrome, you can start using them right away. Here, we'll show you how to use tab groups to clean up your clutter and organize your tabs.

1. Make sure you have the latest version of Chrome by selecting "Settings" from the three dots in the upper right corner of the screen.

2. Check the "About Chrome" menu to see if an update is required. Click "Restart" to complete the update. If you still do not have tab groups in the latest version, you can enter Chrome's experimental menu by typing chrome://flags in your browser and manually turning on tab groups.

3. Right-click on the tab and select "Add to New Group"

4. Click on the circular group marker to give the group a name and color label.

From here you can add tabs to a new or existing group, close groups all at once, or ungroup all tabs. Note that when tabs are pinned, they are removed from the group. Have fun organizing!
