After the huge success of "Trolls World Tour," many households are probably talking about the next "Trolls" film, "Trolls 3.

While we don't know much about the financial success of Trolls World Tour, it's not hard to imagine that DreamWorks is planning a return of the Trolls tribe. So, we looked at possible release dates and which cast members might return.

For those who need a little catching up, "Trolls World Tour" expanded the world of the wild and woolly characters. The sequel revealed that the clan we met in "Trolls" was just one of six troll groups, each specializing in a different musical genre.

In "Trolls World Tour," the hard rock tribe (voiced by Ozzy Osbourne and Rachel Bloom as King Slash and Queen Barb) complains about the diversity of the trolls' musical tastes, and the classical, country, funk, pop and techno tribes war.

Pandora and Xfinity focused on this musical tie-in and created a playlist based on the characters' musical tastes. The pop mixtape features names like Shawn Mendes, Taylor Swift, the Jonas Brothers, and Ariana Grande.

Universal has yet to announce production on "Trolls 3" or "Trolls World Tour 1".

The only question is when. Since there was about three and a half years between "Trolls" and "Trolls World Tour," it is estimated that "Trolls World Tour 2" could be released in the summer of 2023.

Since King Thrush is not Thanos in "Trolls World Tour," one would expect everyone to return for "Trolls World Tour 2." Yes, even the McElroy family.

"Trolls 3" can do anything! This is the message felt from the ending of "Trolls World Tour," which neatly sums up the entire storyline.

One storyline they could have done is the wedding of Poppy (Anna Kendrick) and Blanche (Justin Timberlake).

Even the post-credit scene in "Trolls World Tour" where King Gristle (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) and Brigitte (Zooey Deschanel) return doesn't set anything up.
