Tonight will be the last time "Grey's Anatomy" will be available online until the fall, as the Season 16 finale airs in just a few minutes on ABC.

Season 16 of Grey's Anatomy was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Lead actress Ellen Pompeo and the cast filmed episode 21, which was supposed to be 25 episodes, so that will be the finale.

The season finale, titled "Put on a Happy Face," continues the story of several doctors, including Meredith Grey (Pompeo), who team up to figure out what ails their mentor, Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr.). Richard has an episode during a medical conference, but no one knows what the problem is-will it be Alzheimer's, a stroke, a tumor, or something else?

Elsewhere, Link (Chris Carmack) tries to convince Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) not to overdo it in the final stages of her pregnancy. Hayes (Richard Flood) asks Meredith a surprising question, and Owen (Kevin McKidd) makes a shocking discovery.

This episode was not scheduled to be the final episode of season 16, so Richard's mysterious illness will likely continue into next season. Grey's Anatomy has already been renewed for Season 17.
