Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Plus Leak shows how it shatters all Android phones

Samsung's Galaxy S20 Ultra may be the company's top smartphone, but performance leaks of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Plus show it could be a winner of Android phones.

Samsung is expected to launch two Note 20 models in late 2020, but a Samsung device codenamed "SM-N986U" has appeared on Geekbench The Note 10 Plus 5G used SM-N976U as its model number so logically, this new model number could refer to the Note 20 Plus.

A Geekbench entry for what appears to be the Note 20 Plus, flagged by Twitter user Ice Universe (a frequent leaker of smartphone information), indicates that it will have an octa-core processor capable of running up to 3.9 GHz

The Note 20 Plus is also expected to have a chip.

The chip's official name is not mentioned other than being tagged "Kona." However, this is the codename that Qualcomm uses internally for its Snapdragon 865 series chips.

Geekbench listings indicate that the chip's processor can exceed 3 GHz, exceeding the 2.85 GHz top speed of the Snapdragon 865's "Gold" performance core, making this chip a We can speculate fairly strongly that it is the Snapdragon 865+, a supercharged version of Qualcomm's flagship chip.

In the Geekbench 5 test, this Kona chip recorded a single-core score of 985 and a score of 3,220 in the multi-core test.

Interestingly, Geekbech's listings show the Note 20 Plus' 5G-enabled chip paired with 8GB of RAM, less than the 12GB that the Note 10 and Galaxy S20 have. However, this listing is probably for a prototype of the Note 20 Plus, and the final version is expected to have 12GB of RAM.

In the real world, the Note 20 Plus is meant to be one of the most powerful Android phones; the Galaxy S20 Ultra made light work of games, so the next Note phone is expected to make light work of the most demanding mobile games and apps.

Before phone performance fans get too excited, it is worth noting that Samsung is using Snapdragon chips in the US and Chinese versions of its Galaxy phones. While these CPUs do not tend to produce the exact same results as the Snapdragon chips, there is no doubt that the Note 20 Plus is equipped with the best Exynos chip Samsung has.

Based on previous leaks and rumors, there will be two versions of the Note 20, and both Note 20 models should inherit the quad camera setup of the S20 Ultra.

So when the Note 20 Plus arrives, probably around August, it will have an improved 120HZ refresh rate display, powerful performance, and a camera that will compete with the upcoming iPhone 12 and Google Pixel 5, making it the smartphone world's Samsung will represent the best that can be done.
