Will the iPhone12 video reveal a notched design?Ve been waiting

The design of the iPhone 12 remains a mystery, but that doesn't mean we should expect Apple to make any major changes to the appearance of its flagship model. In fact, we'd settle for just one change. A notch-less forehead.

A new concept video released by leaker Ben Geskin in collaboration with Smazizg imagines an iPhone 12 without a notch. Rather, the front is maximized to provide the most screen area. A thin, uniform bezel surrounds the display, making it a high-tech product that is super satisfying to stare at.

Unlike the previously discussed concept video, this notchless rendering does not appear to feature front-facing iPhone technologies like the selfie camera or Face ID reader. This suggests that we will not see these perfectly even bezels on the next iPhone, but it is possible that a wider forehead could replace the notch.

The all-screen display looks great, but the possibility of the flush camera arrangement seen in the video is equally appealing. iPhone 11's camera bump is less pronounced than that of, say, the Galaxy S20 Ultra, but Apple slimming it down further would not be opposed to making it even slimmer.

The video also embodies rumors that the next iPhone will have flat sides with a matte aluminum band casing like the iPhone 4 instead of curved edges. It is even possible that the follow-up to Apple's postponed iPhone SE, the iPhone 9, will adopt this nostalgic design.

Again, this is only a concept video, so it is unlikely that this previewed design will come to fruition when Apple unveils the iPhone 12 this fall. However, the artists at ConceptsiPhone have certainly given us the aesthetics of a device that will make us dream.
