Samsung Galaxy S10 and Note 10 are getting the best camera features of S20

The new camera features on Samsung's Galaxy S20 will now also be available on last year's flagship Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy S10 models.

Samsung announced the update this morning, saying that "the innovative features found on the flagship Galaxy S20 series will also be available on the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note10 series via a software update starting in March."

The upgrade includes one of the Galaxy S20's top features, the Single Take feature, which uses AI to capture many video clips or images at once and display the shots the phone thinks are best.

Night Hyperlapse is also available on the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy S10 series, which remain among the best phones available. The low-light mode is intended to improve hyperlapse videos in dark environments. Users may have known how to turn on the Galaxy S10's night mode, but the upcoming camera update will automatically bring the low-light feature of last year's phones on par with the Galaxy S20 series.

The Note 10 and S10 camera upgrades will be joined by the S20's new gallery and sharing features. These include Clean View mode, which groups similar shots together into a more organized-looking gallery, and Quick Crop mode for easy editing; AirDrop-like Quick Share and Music Share Bluetooth functionality will also be included on the older models.

Samusic will also be included in older models.

Samsung does not say when the software update will be released to Note 10 and S10 owners, just that the rollout will begin in March. Keep an eye out for available updates.
