Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Fold 2 Confirmed- plus Mysterious Project

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 have been identified by the kernel source code of the Galaxy S20 lineup. The source code also revealed a new device called "Project Zodiac" and the company's mysterious naming system.

XDA Developers analyzed the S20 kernel source code and found references to devices called Project XYZ, Project Canvas, Project Winner2, and Project Zodiac. The first three are aliases for phones that have already been released or are expected to be released later this year; details of Project Zodiac have not yet been revealed.

According to XDA Developers, Project XYZ is the Galaxy S20 series, which includes the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 Plus, and the camera-centric Galaxy S20 Ultra.

Project Canvas is likely the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series, which is expected to bring some significant display and camera upgrades that could make one of the best large phones even better. Samsung Note devices are typically released by August each year.

Just as the original Galaxy Fold was called Project Winner, Project Winner 2 is believed to be the codename for the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2. We believe that the Fold 2 will retain the bookfold design, but will have significant upgrades over the first generation.
