Samsung Galaxy Note 20 News: What is "Project C"?

The Galaxy S20 has yet to launch, but we are already eyeing its big brother, the Galaxy Note 20. Sparse details are beginning to emerge about this device, but one puzzling leak has us speculating about another.

Let's start with the leaks themselves. Posted by Ice Universe, a reliable and prolific leaker, we know a bit about the Note 20's codename. See below:

This is not a great amount of information, but it is enough to infer from the names Samsung has given to phones in development so far. For example, the Galaxy S20 was called "Picasso" within the walls of Samsung's offices and factories, and the Galaxy Note 10 before that was called "Da Vinci."

Prior to that, Samsung did not have a very clear pattern. The Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S8 were named "Star" and "Dream," respectively, while the Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy Note 8 were named "Crown" and "Great."

And the Galaxy Note 7? It was named "Grace," a word no one who has suffered from a rather alarming battery heat problem would definitely associate with a burnt-out phone.

So, assuming Samsung continues the theme of famous artists, what does Project "C" mean? As a lover of early modern landscapes, I'm hoping for the 18th century Italian painter "Canaletto". If Samsung wants to name their new phone after a 19th century English Romantic painter, there is also "Constable". It could also be Caravaggio, Cabanel, Carpaccio, or any number of others.

But Samsung might go in a completely different direction. Imagine: Samsung has a lot of new and exciting camera technology it wants to use after introducing space zoom and a 108MP sensor in the S20 Ultra. Thus, what is the only appropriate name to describe a phone with two humps? Project Camel.
