Android11 can save your phone battery by using this feature

Android 11 contains many secret features that are slowly being discovered by the professional and amateur enthusiast community.

Thanks to their research, they have discovered that Google's upcoming Android will kindly tell you if something is wrong when you try to charge your phone wirelessly.

As discovered by Reddit user jotafett and reported by 9to5Google, the Android 11 beta version will flash a warning if it detects that the phone is not properly placed on a wireless charger. You can see this in the following screenshot taken by 9to5Google with a Pixel 4 XL.

Making sure the phone is aligned with the charger is important to get the best charging speed. If the wireless charger's coil is right next to the phone's coil, you will get the best induction and thus charge the most battery over a period of time.

If they are not lined up, you can still get a little charge, but it will be slower and inefficient. This is not a good thing, because the next time you pick up your phone, you may find that it has less power than you expected.

Google released the last few versions of Android at the Google I/O developer event in May. After that, we will gradually see Android manufacturers incorporate new Android updates, but the first major phone to take full advantage of its capabilities will be Google's own Pixel 5, due for release in September.
