iPad Pro loses to Samsung's new Galaxy Tab S6Lite in one important area

There is nothing wrong with the iPad Pro. But this powerful tablet is plagued by high prices and optional accessories that add more to the credit card receipt. That's why it's worth noting that Samsung's new budget tablet appears to have learned an important lesson from years of stingy sales.

Android Headlines (via TechRadar) has posted images and details of Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, a scaled-down version of the Galaxy Tab S6 and Samsung's budget It's the latest in a line of flagship devices. It is expected to launch within the next few weeks, especially since this photo looks pretty official.

According to leaked details, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, despite being a lower-priced version, comes with an S-Pen stylus just like the Tab S6; since the S6's stylus is wirelessly charged via a docking slot on the back of the tablet, the Tab S6 Lite could also be a way to charge the S-Pen. Alternatively, Samsung may adopt a different, less expensive method.

The Tab S6 already had some notable advantages over the iPad Pro, namely the keyboard cover touchpad. But Apple has responded to this, and the iPad Pro 2020 is rumored to finally have a touchpad.

Other specs of the Tab S6 Lite indicate that it is an inexpensive device, probably around $400 according to Android Headlines; the Exynos 9611 processor and 4GB RAM are not super powerful, but still should be enough for basic Android apps and tasks, it should be enough to handle them. They come with 64GB or 128GB of storage, which again is not a huge amount, but will be able to meet the low-load uses for which the Tab S6 Lite is designed.

The iPad Pro is a great product for those who want more from a tablet than that. iPad Pro is marketed as a laptop replacement without a keyboard cover or Apple Pencil stylus, with a powerful A12X Bionic processor, 120Hz display, and Face ID unlocking, making it ideal for both work and entertainment.
