Chrome and Edge: Google is Afraid of Microsoft's Browsers

Google Chrome is starting to act as if it is afraid of the latest Microsoft Edge web browser. At least, that's the message I'm getting from the new annoying notices that search giant Microsoft is pushing on anyone who tries to open Google services with the new version of Edge.

This is not at all surprising since Microsoft employed similar tactics back when they were trying to convince me to use the old Edge every time I searched Chrome on my PC (which I did every time).

Multiple notices shared by Techdows to convince users to stop trying Microsoft's version of Edge built on Chromium (which Chrome is also built on) to save the kitchen sink It shows that they are throwing everything they have at it.

Among these features are offline Google Docs editing and built-in access to Google Translate; Google's other notifications passively suggest that Edge is inferior in terms of hiding ads, protecting against malware, and installing updates faster. Suggestions. Frankly, these are not unimportant priorities, but there are reasons to view Google with suspicion, including Edge's use of Chrome's own ad blocker.

These notifications occur in Google Search, Google News, Google Docs, and Google Translate, and basically, if you dare to use Google services outside of Google's walls, Google is ruining your productivity with nudges means.
