If you're like me, you've been eagerly awaiting Apple's 2020 MacBook Pro. And even if you were dissatisfied with the battery life and performance, you probably wouldn't have let go of your old, outdated model for the reliable keyboard. Today's good news is that the 2020 13-inch MacBook Pro is going to give us the speed boost we need and keep its place on our best laptops list.

The news comes from Twitter leaker @_rogame, who posted a screenshot of 3DMark test results for a laptop (labeled "Apple Computer") with a 10th generation Ice Lake Intel CPU . Rogame captioned it as a "2020 13-inch Macbook Pro" and noted that it has 32GB of RAM and a 2TB SSD.

If you're not familiar with the Ice Lake CPU from the Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock movie "Lake House," you should know that this chip offers a powerful performance boost. Our sister site Laptop Mag notes that Ice Lake chips give more powerful graphics performance with integrated graphics (as opposed to Comet Lake chips).

Hot Hardware investigated the _rogame leak and found that the leaked model shows a 12% jump in CPU test scores and a "nearly 30% performance boost" in GPU tests when compared to the previous 13-inch MacBook Pro.

Apple is customizing the current 13-inch MacBook Pro to allow up to 2TB of SSD storage, which would double the current 16GB limit and would be the new maximum memory allocation.

Since the 16-inch MacBook Pro's RAM limit is already 64GB, Apple may continue to force users to purchase larger laptops for maximum performance.

Of course, the leak does not mention the update we most want for the 13-inch MacBook Pro: a new keyboard. Apple's Magic Keyboard on the 2019 16-inch MacBook Pro replaces the controversial butterfly-switch keyboard and is the most important upgrade this laptop can have.
