Samsung Galaxy Note 20 launches with Galaxy Fold 2 on May

If rumor tipster Max Weinbach's tweets are to be believed, Samsung's Galaxy Note 20 will be released at the same time as the Galaxy Fold 2.

Shortly after the Galaxy Z Flip was announced, some new details of the Galaxy Fold 2 began to leak, suggesting a summer release alongside the Galaxy Note 20 with some significant upgrades.

According to Weinbach, the Galaxy Fold 2 (also known as the Galaxy Z Fold 2) will likely feature ultra-thin glass with a 7.7-inch Infinity Flex display. More notably, it could be the first phone to feature a camera under the display.

Weinbach further stated that the Fold 2 will have an Infinity V display on the front cover and a hole punch or under-display camera on top. The new model may divert the camera from the Galaxy S20 Plus and is expected to launch in July alongside the rumored Galaxy Note 20.

The Galaxy Fold 2 could be a major comeback for Samsung, as the original Galaxy Fold failed to justify its $2,000 price tag and was unpopular due to its clunky, bulky, and unreliable design. According to the ongoing Galaxy Z Flip review, Samsung seems to have a better understanding of the foldable. [As for the Galaxy Note 20, we've heard rumors that Samsung's next phablet will feature a more finely tuned 120Hz display from the Galaxy S20. We have also seen mockups of the Galaxy Note 20 that suggest that the Note 20 series will almost directly divert the camera array of the Galaxy S20.

Samsung's Note series usually launches in the summer, so expect more news about the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Fold 2 as we approach July.
