More zombies are on the way in the second half of "The Walking Dead" Season 10.

AMC's drama will soon return for Season 10B, continuing the nail-biting cliffhanger of November's midseason finale. Fans will finally learn the fate of Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Carol (Melissa McBride), trapped in a cave with a horde of walkers.

Since star Danai Gurira is scheduled to leave the show in the second half of "The Walking Dead" season 10, expect some closure for Michonne as she sets sail in search of a high-performance weapon.

Here's everything we know about The Walking Dead Season 10 Part 2 (also known as 10B), including release date, cast, and plot.

"The Walking Dead" Season 10B will premiere on AMC on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at 9pm ET.

FOX UK will air the following day, Monday, February 24.

Eight episodes of "The Walking Dead" season 10 have already aired. Eight more episodes are planned for the second half of the season; AMC has revealed three of the episode titles:

AMC also released the first of the midseason premiere scene was also released. The scene features Carol (Melissa McBride) screaming as she realizes that she has been lured into a trap by the Alphas and Whisperers:

The Walking Dead season 10B will bring back most of the cast from the first half of the season.

AMC has not announced any new cast members for The Walking Dead Season 10 Part 2. However, if characters are killed off, several actors will likely be dropped. And fans are well aware that Grilla will only appear in a handful of episodes before leaving the series.

There is a slight chance that Lauren Cohan will return as Maggie. The actress left the series after season 9 to appear on ABC's short-lived show Whiskey Cavalier. After it was canceled, "The Walking Dead" showrunner Angela Kang announced at New York Comic-Con in October 2019 that Cohan would return. Maggie is not expected to appear until season 11, but Cohan may make a cameo at the end of season 10.

The war with the Whisperers will continue to be the main focus of "The Walking Dead" Season 10 Part 2. AMC's official synopsis reads, "The community must unite and sacrifice everything to find a way to silence the Whisperers. Otherwise, the Alphas will face their certain doom."

"The Walking Dead" Season 10 Episode 9, titled "Squeeze," follows up on the precarious situations of several key characters. The mid-season finale ended with Daryl, Carol, Aaron, Magna, Connie, Jerry, and Kelly trapped in a cave with a horde of walkers gathered by the alpha. In order to escape, they must escape not only the zombies, but also the sadistic Whisperers.

And even if they manage to survive, the group must confront the Alphas, who have apparently recruited Negan to their side. Then again, the former leader of the Saviors may be toying with her and secretly using her as an opportunity to kill Alpha.

Another big cliffhanger was Michonne setting sail with Virgil to find large weapons at the abandoned naval base. Whether she will be able to find those weapons and bring them back to Alexandria remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, back at home, Gabriel has unleashed his inner demons by killing Dante. Now that his moral code has been compromised, will the once pacifist priest turn completely evil? Fans of "The Walking Dead" also speculate that Gabriel may die in the upcoming zombie attack on Alexandria.

In the comics, the Whisperers organize a walker invasion of the community, and Andrea is bitten to death in the chaos. In the show, however, Andrea is long dead, so Gabriel may be killed that way instead.
