Moto G8, G8 Power and G8 stylus are all just leaked

Motorola may be making a splash right now with its Razr foldable, but the company is still making traditional mid-range phones as well. Its next round of budget phones, the G8 series, is expected to debut next month, but we already got an early look thanks to a new leak.

Images posted by Evan Blass (via TechRadar) show the Moto G8, Moto G8 Power, and Moto G Stylus standing side by side together.Blass had no additional information to add to these leaks, but we already have other information We already know some information about the phones from other sources.

The G8, the most entry-level phone in the new series, will feature a Snapdragon 665 CPU, 6.39-inch LCD display, up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, a 4,000 mAh battery, plus a 16MP main camera on the back, 2MP macro camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and an 8MP selfie camera on the front, which is housed in a punch-hole notch instead of the G7's water drop. The phone will be unlocked by a fingerprint scanner on the back, which, by all accounts, appears to be hidden within the Motorola logo in the center of the back of the device.

The G8 and G8 Power share many similarities. This model also uses the Snapdragon 655, 4GB RAM, and 64GB storage. The display has been changed to a 6.36-inch FHD model, and the front camera has been replaced by a 25MP sensor.

Most notably, however, the G8 Power increases battery capacity to 5,000 mAh and allows for 18W charging. In addition, an 8 MP camera sensor has been added to the back.

The G8 Power also appeared briefly on Amazon, as spotted by Roland Quandt (via Android Police), confirming many of the above specs and revealing Capri Blue and Smoke Black colors. The listing may also suggest that the extra unknown 8MP camera is a telephoto lens, based on the description encouraging users to take pictures "from a distance."

The newest member of the MotoG family, the G Stylus, is a larger version of the G8 armed with a stylus and remains a popular accessory among fans of plus-size phones; just ask Galaxy Note 10 owners, who are likely to be looking to get their hands on one of these phones in the future.

Earlier leaks indicated that the G Stylus, like the G8 Power, will have a 5,000 mAh battery, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. There is no information yet on the display or camera setup, but it is expected to resemble the G8 Power's higher specs.

The Moto G8 Plus and Moto G8 Play were released late last year, but these are lower-performing models than the trio we mentioned. We really liked last year's Moto G7 and look forward to trying out the improved G8, which will be announced later this month.
