Apple's 16-inch MacBook Pro is one of the best laptops you can buy, but it is also quite expensive. Fortunately, Amazon is currently slashing the price of Apple's top-of-the-line MacBooks by several hundred dollars.

Amazon is currently offering a 16-inch MacBook Pro Core i7/512GB model for $2,099, $300 off the list price. As of this writing, the sale applies only to the laptop's space gray version, and the machine will not be in stock until February 9. However, this is one of the most significant savings we have seen yet on Apple's latest laptop.

The offer also applies to the Core i9/1TB storage version of the 16-inch MacBook Pro, which has been reduced from $2,799 to $2,499.

In our review of the 16-inch MacBook Pro, we liked Apple's new laptop for its excellent Magic Keyboard, gorgeous display with slim bezels, and the best audio we've heard on a laptop. It also lasted a whopping 11 hours on a charge in our tests, and performed very impressively, especially on the Core i9 model.
