Watch the state of the union online: time, channels and where to stream now

By the time you are reading this, U.S. President Donald J. Trump is about to deliver his 2020 State of the Union address. As is his wont these days, he intends to deliver the speech in the midst of a chaotic news week, in the aftermath of the Democratic Iowa caucuses (results not yet available) and with his own impeachment trial still underway.

For the former, the president is expected to bask in the glow of victory, but for the latter, it seems unlikely that he will be removed from office, which may still put him in the category of success.

It can be viewed on YouTube, in the Washington Post, or through Rocast, a nonprofit that distributes broadcast television.

If you have a TV antenna or live streaming service, you can watch it on the major broadcast channels: ABC, CBS, NBC, and PBS; it also airs on 24/7 news networks: CNN, Fox, and MSNBC.
