The Super Bowl 2020 teams are finally approaching the big game, and after decisive victories in the AFC and NFC championship games, the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers will face off in Super Bowl LIV on Sunday, January 19, in Miami, Florida.

Las Vegas Super Bowl odds predict a close, high-scoring game that could go either way.

In the AFC Championship Game against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, January 19, the Chiefs trailed by double-digits early on, but just like the previous game against the Houston Texans when they trailed by 24 points, the Chiefs easily erased the deficit and made their first Super Bowl in 50 years Super Bowl for the first time in 50 years.

Patrick Mahomes threw for 294 yards and three touchdowns, and also ran 21 yards down the sideline and acrobatically dodged multiple defenders to score. The Titans continued to play a relatively competitive game, but Derrick Henry, who had totaled 377 yards rushing in the previous two playoff games, was held to 69 yards and a score in the championship.

In the NFC Championship, the San Francisco 49ers dominated the Green Bay Packers in the same fashion as the Titans. Raheem Mostert, who had been traded or cut by six teams before being picked up by the Niners, rushed for 220 yards and four touchdowns. Jimmy Garoppolo completed 6 of 8 passes for 77 yards.

In the first half alone, the Niners scored 27 points. Aaron Rodgers threw for 326 yards and two touchdowns, but two interceptions, including one with 1:48 left, decided the game.

The 49ers and Chiefs will begin Super Bowl LIV on Sunday, February 2 at approximately 6:30 PM (3:30 PM Pacific Time | 11:30 PM Eastern Time). Las Vegas is expecting a tight, high-scoring game. Currently, the point spread on Caesar's Super Bowl odds has the Chiefs at -1.5 and the Niners at +1.5. The over/under is currently set at 54 points, which suggests that Vegas believes the game will be a back-and-forth volleyball battle, with either team scoring a fatal blow just before time expires.

Initially, the match was marked as a toss-up, essentially 50/50 odds. It was then -1/+1 in favor of the Chiefs.
