Thursday is the day that the best branching out show on NBC ends. In fact, it's starting right now!

We've been guarding ourselves from spoilers and potential plot points about what to expect from this series that specializes in self-improvement. But one nugget has crept in, courtesy of Jamila Jamil.

Series showrunner Michael Schur announced that season 4 will be the last on June 7, 2019. In a tweet, Schur revealed that this finale timeline was first conceived when The Good Place was picked up for a second season.

In most countries outside the US, the finale of "The Good Place" can be viewed online on Friday, January 31. In the UK, it will air at 8:00 a.m. Japan time.

In the rest of the world, Netflix already has "The Good Place" Season 4 available, but those in the US will have to wait a while. Our best guess is that Season 4 will appear on Netflix in the fall of 2020, but this is based on past history.

Tahani herself, Jamila Jamil, gave us plenty of reasons to be excited about this week's episode: on The Tonight Show, she told Jimmy Fallon that a "cameo within a cameo" will take place in the finale of The Good Place. Fallon tried to get more out of the star, but all he could get out were details that this person actually "exists within the NBC family." I am hopeful that Berea's Fresh Prince, Will Smith, is a possibility.
