Feast your eyes on the first official Galaxy S20 rendering

After seeing many leaks about Samsung's Galaxy S20 series features and many unofficial attempts to render them based on various CAD models, here is a supposedly official rendering taken from Samsung's press materials. There are also a few small feature leaks regarding the camera and the shape of the device.

The renderings were released by 91 Mobiles courtesy of Ishan Agarwal. A first look at the S20 Ultra in Cosmic Gray color shows that the previous fan renderings are mostly on target. In this image, the display wallpaper is black, but the punch hole for the selfie camera is visible in the center.

On the back, three of the four camera sensors (main 108 MP, ultra-wide 44 MP, and time-of-flight) are placed in a rectangular arrangement along with the flash; the 100x "space zoom" telephoto sensors are placed apart within a single camera bump, in slightly different finishes

Standard.

The standard S20, like the S20 Plus, looks almost identical from the front. The difference is on the back: the camera bumps on the S20 and S20 Plus are much thinner, similar to the Galaxy Note 10, which was the first to adopt this style, with three cameras on the S20 and four on the S20 Plus. According to previous rumors, the additional sensor will be a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, while the shared sensor will be a 12MP standard camera and a 64MP 3x optical zoom telephoto camera.

Agarwal's tweet also revealed color options for the three S20 models: the S20 Ultra will be available in Cosmic Gray and Cosmic Black; the S20 Plus in Cloud Blue; and the S20 in Cloud Pink, Cloud Blue and Cosmic Gray. Choices include.

Max Weinbach again provides more distinctive information about the S20 series. First, "Nonaviation". This is a photo processing technology on the S20 Ultra, and from its name and Weinbach's description of its usefulness for low-light photography, it appears to be Samsung's own take on pixel binning, which is found on the main camera sensors of most modern smartphones.

Another thing Weinbach had to share was about the shape of the S20. Samsung is known for its "Edge" display, which has a large curved screen edge. As with previous rumors, Samsung appears to be taking a step back from previous versions of this extremely curved display. According to Weinbach, even the most curved S20 Ultra will be flatter than the S10 series, and the S20 and S20 Plus will be even flatter.
