iPhone12 might come in blue: Here's Your first look

Since the introduction of the iPhone 11 lineup, thanks to the steady increase in iPhone 12 rumors, we've heard a lot about the different features Apple has planned for its next smartphone. But we haven't heard much about the colors Apple is planning for this fall's iPhones.

Let the rumors that have emerged this week set that straight. Smartphone leaker Max Weinbach told the EverythingApplePro YouTube channel that instead of the Midnight Green color scheme currently available on the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max, a Navy Blue color scheme In a subsequent video promoting the leak, EverythingApplePro suggests that Midnight Green will be an option only for the Pro models in the iPhone 12 lineup.

As for the iPhone rumor it is not the most complicated source we have ever heard. Weinbach was responsible for last week's big reveal regarding rumored Galaxy S20 specs, but as AppleInsider points out in its report on this Navy Blue rumor, there were some notable rumor misses to go along with the rumor hit.

That said, color remains an important part of how Apple makes its iPhones stand out since the fall 2018 release unleashed a rainbow of color options on the iPhone XR. That trend continued last fall with the iPhone 11, which came in six colors, with Midnight Green joining Gold, Space Gray, and Silver as iPhone 11 Pro colors.

Apple last released a blue iPhone in 2018 with the iPhone XR, but if a navy blue option exists, even more so if it heads to the Pro version of the iPhone 12.

According to previous rumors, as many as four iPhone 12 models are expected this fall. And that's not counting the iPhone SE 2, which could appear as early as March, and mass production of that inexpensive handset will reportedly begin next month.
