At CES 2020, VIZIO unveiled its next-generation SmartCast smart TV platform and new soundbar products.

The improvements in SmartCast 4.0 are fairly obvious, and kudos to VIZIO for speeding up the top-level home screen experience; it is worth noting that VIZIO has said to expect SmartCast updates on TVs dating back to 2016 deserves to be.

The audio lineup has been revamped for 2020, from industrial design to sound quality to improved branding. The centerpiece is the new high-end VIZIO Elevate Sound Bar. It features Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. It also has speakers that rotate according to the sound profile. This is really cool stuff and looks space-age in person. And the sound? Excellent.
