We are starting to get better information about Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip, aka Galaxy Bloom, aka Galaxy Fold 2, besides its official name and rumored processor. Today, however, we have obtained (allegedly leaked) information about its screen, battery capacity, and charging speed.

According to SamMobile, the Galaxy Z Flip's battery has a high capacity of 3,300 mAh. If true, this would be much better than the Motorola Razr (2,510 mAh) - especially since Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip is rumored to have a 900 mAh secondary (see below) just for the secondary display and background operation when the phone is closed There are.

Another rumor related to the battery is the charging speed, which SamMobile discovered in a Chinese regulatory filing: like the Galaxy Fold, it will have a 15W charger in the box. Fast, but not as fast as other current and future flagships.

It is not known if the Galaxy Z Flip can accept a faster charger. For reference, the Galaxy Fold currently supports a maximum charging speed of 15W. The upcoming Galaxy S20 is expected to come with a 25W power adapter.

It is also not known if the Galaxy Z Flip will offer wireless charging.

Another rumor comes from a solid source: Max Weinbach. This XDA Developers writer claims that not only will Samsung cover the display with an ultra-thin glass display to increase hardness, but the Korean company will also add a secondary protective plastic layer.

Weinbach claims that Samsung is cooking this display lasagna to make the device more resilient. We can only hope that reviewers will not try to pull off the plastic protector. That remains to be seen.

The only other thing we know more or less for sure is the fact that Samsung will adopt Qualcomm's 2019 flagship Snapdragon 855 processor as opposed to the Galaxy S20's Snapdragon 865. If true, this would be far superior to the mid-range CPU in the Motorola Razr.

So far, Samsung seems to be on its way to surpassing the popular (on the net) Razr in terms of specs.

Other information such as display resolution, rear camera (selfie camera specs are rumored to be 10MP), and recording capabilities are not yet known. Also unknown is the memory (the entire S20 lineup is said to have 12 GB) and storage.

The phone is expected to go on sale within a month, so we expect new details to be revealed more and more in the coming days.
