Roborock H6 puts robotic vacuum technology into handheld unit

Roborock is expanding its lineup at this year's CES 2020 with the introduction of its first handheld vacuum cleaner, the Roborock H6, which packages all of its expertise in automatic robot vacuum cleaners into a lightweight, powerful handheld that can be used in any home to keep carpets and hardwood floors clean.

The H6 is the world's first vacuum cleaner to use a lithium polymer battery. This battery can be used for 90 minutes in Eco mode and 10 minutes in full operation. An OLED screen built into the handle displays the H6's operating time available, along with other useful notifications. Weighing only 3 pounds, the Roborock H6 is ideal for cleaning high, hard-to-reach areas such as ceilings and shelves.

Despite its generous battery life and light weight, the Roborock H6 boasts plenty of power, and its 420W multi-layer impeller effortlessly lifts dirt deposits deep into carpets and other soft materials. Washable HEPA filters on the front and back of the unit collect 99.97% of the debris raised during cleaning, so you can breathe easy.

Roborock also introduced the S6 Pure at CES, which features the same floor mapping, laser-guided navigation, and anti-tipping sensors as its predecessor, but at a more affordable price.

The palm-sized Roborock H6 costs $449 and the S6 Pure $549, and both will be available on Amazon in Q2.
