Diesel Fade Light Smart Watch appeal equally to men and women

Diesel's new smartwatch, the Fadelite, moves away from the traditional masculine design with a smaller size and a more playful transparent nylon watchband; available in four colors, the Wear OS watch will go on sale in March for $275.

Like all Fossil Group Wear OS smartwatches, the Diesel Fadelite runs the latest version of Google's mobile operating system and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon Wear 3100 processor.

However, the Fadelite has a smaller 43mm case, allowing it to be worn by both men and women, and the strap changes color from red to black, black to transparent, and blue to transparent.

The all-clear band model, with its iridescent case and clasp, I thought was the sharpest of the bunch. Diesel also partnered with artist Mad Dog Jones to create a special strap that will debut later this year.

Digital touches include an interactive globe dial that can display two additional time zones and a weather animation that shows real-time conditions. Fadelite is part of the Diesel on Smartwatch platform, which includes features such as speakers and tethered calling. However, like most Wear OS smartwatches, it has a battery life of up to two days.

While Wear OS is not our favorite smartwatch platform, it has the most variety when it comes to watch styles; Fossil, through its numerous sub-brands, carries most of them, so there is no shortage of choices. Diesel's Fadelite is another option when looking for a stylish smartwatch.
