This stunning Android phone beats the Galaxy S21 Ultra - for less money

According to a recent leak, the display of the upcoming Oppo Find X3 Pro could include some of Samsung's best features and could compete for the title of best smartphone display on the market.

In a recent tweet, leaker Ice Universe reported that the Oppo Find X3 series will feature a LTPO (low-temperature polycrystalline oxide) display. This technology allows the smartphone to adjust the refresh rate as needed to conserve power. If we trust this speculation, the upcoming Oppo Find X3 series will be the first smartphone lineup after Samsung's flagship release.

According to the leaker, the Oppo Find X3 series will be able to lower the refresh rate from 120Hz to 5Hz, the widest range ever introduced in the market. This would surpass the range of Samsung's Galaxy S21 Ultra, which can go down to at least 10 Hz.

Ice Universe also suggested that the Oppo Find X3 series could feature Samsung Display's new premium OLED panel, the E4 screen. This technology uses a new organic compound to improve light emission, thus achieving better brightness and vividness levels while reducing the device's overall power consumption. Currently, this OLED panel technology is only available in a few smartphones, including the Xiaomi Mi 11 and China's Redmi K40 series.

The Find X3 series, which Oppo revealed at last year's launch, will be available worldwide on March 11. The company also revealed that its new smartphone lineup will feature the new Full-path Color Management System.

This technology allows smartphones to capture, store, and display colors with a DCI-P3 wide color gamut and 10-bit color depth, promising "an exceptional viewing experience" and "authentic and accurate color reproduction." As Oppo noted, this android color management system is expected to be the "first" to offer such powerful performance.

Like the upcoming Oppo Find X3, the upcoming OnePlus 9 Pro may also feature an LTPO display, as previously shared by another reliable leaker, Max Jambhor.

In more good news, leaker Roland Quandt claims that the Oppo Find X3 Pro will be priced starting at €1,149 with 256GB of storage, compared to €1,200 for the Galaxy S21 Ultra. In other words, Oppo's new flagship model offers a better display for less money.
