Xiaomi Note10Pro Blows up galaxy S21Ultra with 108MP camera and 120Hz Display - for onlyス269

Introducing the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro, a budget smartphone with a 108MP rear camera that rivals the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.

This is one of four new models launched by the Chinese company, along with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10S, and Redmi Note 10 5G. While the standard Note 10 will not be available in all regions, the other three models will be available globally. Let's look a little at each of these products.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra's 108 megapixel rear camera is one of its best features.

And Xiaomi has gone all out with the Note 10 Pro's photo technology. Not only does it have an ultra-high-resolution 108MP sensor, but also an 8MP ultra-wide, 5MP telemacro, and 2MP depth sensor on the back. The front-facing camera uses a 16MP sensor.

And there's more: according to Xiaomi, the 9-in-1 binning technology lets in more light, plus a fancy RAW algorithm that uses multiple exposures of the same shot to improve night photography. We won't know how it performs until we try it, but it certainly looks good on paper.

This camera set is far from the only impressive feature of the Redmi Note 10 Pro. It also has a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with an ultra-fast 120Hz refresh rate, another feature not usually found outside of premium smartphones.

As reported by The Verge, the Indian version of the Redmi Note 10 Pro is called the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max and starts at Rs. 18,999 (~$260) for a model with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage.

It also has both a USB-C port and a 3.5mm headphone socket, and a fingerprint sensor on the side. Other features include a 5,020mAh battery and 33W fast charging.

Indeed, the fact that it is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 732G chip tells us that it is mid-range. The phone will be available in 6GB and 8GB, with 64GB and 128GB of storage.

Whether the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro will make the list of best Android phones will largely depend on its price; the Redmi line is generally not expensive and the Redmi Note 9 retails for just £130 in the UK, but pricing details are not yet known. However, pricing details are not yet known.

The standard Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 is not a full release model and will certainly not be available in the UK, although details on which countries it will be available in are not yet known.

It does not have the top-end features of the Note 10 Pro, but it does have a 43MP rear camera backed by an 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, 2MP depth sensor and a 13MP front camera. The screen is a 6.43-inch AMOLED with a resolution of 2400 x 1080, a 5000mAh battery and fast charging technology.

The Redmi Note 10S sits below the Note 10 Pro and shares some of its key features.

Like the 10 Pro, it has a fingerprint sensor, USB-C port, and 3.5mm headphone jack, but the main camera is slightly smaller: it has a 64MP sensor and supports 8MP ultrawide, 2MP depth sensing, and 2MP macro. On the front there is a 13MP camera.

Like the standard Note 10, it has a 6.43-inch FHD+ display with a 60Hz refresh rate, no 120Hz; the 5,000mAh battery is also slightly smaller than the Pro, but it has a fast 33W charge.

It has a MediaTek Helio G95 mid-range processor, 6 or 8 GB of RAM, and 64 or 128 GB of storage.

Finally, there is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G. As you might expect, it is the only one of these four models that supports 5G.

Other than connectivity, it has a bigger and better screen than the 10S: it is a 6.5-inch display with FHD+ resolution and a fast 90Hz refresh rate. The camera is downgraded from the 10S's, with only a 48MP main sensor with a 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor. There is no ultra-wide-angle lens on this model, and the front snapper is only 8MP.

The battery is also slightly downgraded, with the same 5,000mAh capacity as the 10S, but only supports 18W charging.

Under the hood is the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, 4GB or 6GB RAM, and 64GB or 128GB storage.

5G could be a good candidate for the best inexpensive 5G phone, but otherwise, what we are really interested in is the Redmi Note 10 Pro. More details will be announced soon.
