How to Watch Tokyo Ghoul anywhere in order

If you are looking for a gory and exciting anime to get stuck into, "Tokyo Ghouls" is the perfect choice. Adapted from Sui Ishida's manga series, "Tokyo Ghoul: Tokyo Ghoul" follows Ken Kaneki, a student who is attacked and transformed by ghouls (flesh-eating monsters that secretly inhabit Earth).

However, with so many prequels and live-action spin-offs, one wonders in what order to watch "Tokyo Ghoul: Tokyo Ghoul," whether chronologically in terms of story, in order of release date, or in the most interesting order.

Furthermore, "Tokyo Ghoul: Tokyo Ghoul" is available on Netflix in some countries and on other streaming services (especially in the US) in others. However, even if you only have Netflix, there is an easy way to watch "Tokyo Ghoul: Tokyo Ghoul" in sequence wherever you are, which is explained below.

In the United States, Canada, and several other countries, Tokyo Ghoul is not available on Netflix, but on other streaming services such as Hulu. Therefore, those who only have Netflix cannot watch it.

However, there are workarounds.

With the best VPNs, you can watch Tokyo Ghoul on Netflix from different locations while in the US. Our top choice is ExpressVPN, but our Netflix VPN guide has some good options as well.

If you want to watch the first three seasons of Tokyo Ghoul and the Jack and Pinto OVA, we recommend using a UK VPN. These films are available on UK Netflix, and in our testing ExpressVPN had no problem unblocking the content when using the UK servers.

The best way to watch the live-action Tokyo Ghoul movie is through a Japanese VPN; Netflix Japan is one of the only regions that carries the film, and ExpressVPN works well for accessing it. Note, however, that Netflix Japan may not have access to English subtitles or dubbing.

Tokyo Ghoul Tokyo Ghoul begins with Ken Kaneki as a normal student, excited and nervous about a date with a girl. However, Ken's situation is irrevocably changed when she turns out to be a ghoul and attacks him.

From then on, the anime documents Ken's coming to terms with his new life, befriending ghouls and hiding his true nature from his human friends.

After the first two seasons of "Tokyo Ghoul: Tokyo Ghoul," the original video animation "Tokyo Ghoul: Jack" and "Tokyo Ghoul: Pinto" were released in 2015. These are prequels to the original season and branch off from the manga storyline.

This was followed by the live-action film "Tokyo Ghoul: Tokyo Ghoul" in 2017 and the final season of the anime in 2018.
