The CBS All Access name has been around for a while, but the time has come for a full rebrand. Paramount Plus is the latest in a streaming service that aims to be a one-stop shop for entertainment.

Now not limited to just CBS content, Paramount Plus has incorporated content from Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, MTV, and BET, essentially bringing together CBS and CBS Sports live streams alongside ViacomCBS's all divisions under one roof.

However, while it is relatively easy to access Paramount Plus within the US, if you are outside the US, even for a fee, you may run into problems. So here is exactly how to watch Paramount Plus anywhere in the world.

If you're in the US, watching Paramount Plus couldn't be easier

If you have a CBS All Access subscription, that subscription will carry over and become a Paramount Plus subscription. Of course, new customers can also sign up for Paramount Plus.

If you are not already a subscriber, you can subscribe for as little as $5.99/month, although ads will be displayed. However, ads will be displayed. If you want to skip the ads, you can subscribe for $9.99/month. Both plans offer a 15% discount if you choose to pay annually (to take advantage of this, select the "15% off" checkbox when selecting your plan).

Outside the U.S., the situation is slightly different.

Paramount Plus will launch in a variety of regions and devices (check out the Paramount Plus app guide for more information), but essentially the US will get it all first and in full. Canadian subscribers will be restricted first, and there is no word on when (or if) UK and other European subscribers will have access.

If you are already a Paramount Plus subscriber and are outside the US, the most efficient way to access it is to change locations with the best VPN. Select a VPN server in the US and go to the Paramount Plus site or app. Then enter your details, sign in, and start watching.

The same can be done if you are in a country where Paramount Plus selection is restricted. For example, if you are in Canada and want to access the full Paramount Plus service in the US, all you need to do is sign up for the service and change your location to the US using a VPN. Then you will be able to access everything that is offered.

For the US, signing up for Paramount Plus is very easy.

All you need to do is go to the Paramount Plus website and select a plan. Follow the instructions, enter your credit card information, and you're done.

If you already subscribe to CBS All Access, you don't need to do that. For now, everything is still the same, so you can log into Paramount Plus with your old account information.

If you live in the US (or at least have a US credit card), you can sign up for Paramount Plus wherever you are.

All you need to do is sign up for ExpressVPN, change your location to the US, and head to the Paramount Plus website as usual. Then enter your U.S. credit card information and start watching.

If you don't have a U.S. credit card, you can get around this by purchasing a digital CBS All Access gift card at a retailer such as Walmart; once you connect to the U.S. server via VPN, you can use it to pay for Paramount Plus wherever you are.

If you subscribe to Paramount Plus, you can also watch on Roku; simply install the Paramount Plus channel on your Roku, enter your details and log in to start streaming.

However, if you want to use a VPN to view Paramount Plus on a Roku outside the US, you will need to install a router VPN. This is because the Roku device itself does not support VPN.
