Google has released a new feature for sharing web pages on Chrome, and it appears that Chromium developers have added two new flags, suggesting that Google may be planning to roll out the Sharing Hub feature more widely.

Currently, this feature already exists on Android. This means that users of our best Android phones have many options for sharing their content. Take and edit screenshots, scan QR codes to share web pages, print files and save them as PDFs - Chrome for Android makes it easy to do all this and more.

And now desktop users hungry for similar sharing options will be able to share web pages with WhatsApp contacts and other applications and messages.

If you have the latest version of Chrome Canary, you can turn on Sharing Hub by following these steps.

This feature is still in the testing phase and switching the flag to "Enabled" will not make any significant changes at this time.

However, in the near future, switching on App Menu and Omnibox should bring up a menu similar to the Android interface, allowing you to capture screenshots and copy links to send to another device.

Techdows reports that the Sharing Hub will soon be available to desktop users on a variety of platforms, including MacOS, Windows, Chrome OS, and Linux. The feature is currently limited to Chrome Canary users, but will be available to users of the stable version of Google Chrome in the future.
