A new iMac Pro 2022 is reportedly in development at Apple, and we may see it sooner than you think.

The promising news comes from proven Apple insider Bloomberg Mark, who believes that Apple will ship a new "iMac Pro" in 2022 with a larger screen than the 24-inch iMac (pictured above) launched in 2021. This excellent machine is still being sold with Intel chips and is therefore starting to look a bit dated among Apple's M1-powered products.

Here's everything we know so far about the potential of the 27-inch iMac Pro 2022.

We are still waiting for Apple to officially confirm their plans to ship the iMac in 2022. When that happens, we will have a better idea of when the iMac will be available and how much it will cost.

Based on leaks, rumors, and Apple's product strategy to date, we can assume that the new iMac will be available in the first half of 2022; Ross Young, CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), has estimated late 2021. claimed on Twitter that Apple plans to launch a new 27-inch iMac in early 2022, possibly with a mini LED display.

As for pricing, don't expect the 2022 iMac to be cheaper than the current 27-inch iMac. Since the successor is expected to have more powerful components, including an upgrade from Intel chips to Apple silicon, it is safe to assume that the starting price for this upcoming 27-inch iMac 2022 will be around $2,000.

So far, we have not heard much about what changes (if any) can be expected in the design of the iMac Pro 2022. iMac is expected to be a refresh of the 27-inch iMac, so the 2022 iMac will have the same 27 inch display, so it seems likely that the 2022 iMac will have the same 27-inch display as its predecessor. The bezel will be slimmer and the lower "chin" of the display may be reduced. If so, it would match the revamped design of Apple's 24-inch iMac 2021.

If Apple uses the 24-inch iMac design as a reference when creating the iMac 2022, we would love to see it come in a similarly eye-catching, vibrant color scheme.

We heard early on a potent rumor that Apple is designing a 27-inch iMac Pro for 2022 with the same remarkable mini LED display as the 2021 iPad Pro, MacBook Pro, and 24-inch iMac.

While it could still happen, the biggest upgrade to the iMac 27-inch 2022 has just been shot down thanks to some reports from DigiTimes claiming that Apple has chosen to stick with LCD panels for the 2022 iMac.

Since Apple has yet to confirm specs on a possible iMac Pro 2022, we can only make educated guesses as to what such a Mac might pack under the hood. It will no doubt feature the latest M1 Pro and M1 Max chips that Apple announced late last year to power the new MacBook Pro 14-inch 2021 and MacBook Pro 16-inch 2021 laptops. These chips have proven to be great machines and have blown away the majority of Windows laptops in our lab tests. Therefore, putting the power of these chips in the new 27-inch iMac seems like a professional move on Apple's part.

Of course, the new 2022 iMac may ship with the Apple M2 chip that is rumored to debut in the new MacBook Pro 2022 later this year. However, since we expect the new Pro to launch later in 2022, and we believe the M2 chip is a more power efficient version of the M1, this seems unlikely.

Spec-wise, we expect the new 27-inch iMac Pro 2022 to start with at least 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD. However, we are hoping that Apple will raise the minimum specs for the new 27-inch iMac Pro 2022 to 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD.

We haven't heard much about what kind of webcam we should expect from the new 27-inch iMac Pro. However, we have reason to believe that it will be at least as good as the camera on the 24-inch iMac 2021.

This is a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, and in our hands-on testing, it captured clear and accurate images and video. iMacs are traditionally set up like a family PC, so you can expect to receive calls from friends and family in front of the computer with friends and We expect the M1 chip in the 24-inch iMac also plays a role in image signal processing for improved image quality, and we hope that the future 27-inch iMac Pro 2022 will have similar capabilities.

For now, there is good reason to expect Apple to release a new 27-inch iMac Pro in 2022. 27-inch iMacs are one of the few Apple computing products still sold with Intel chips, and there is a good chance that Apple will release a new 27-inch iMac Pro in 2020 when it Given that Apple has announced plans to migrate all Macs to Apple silicon, the 27-inch iMac is overdue for an update.
