Super Bowl 2022 Dates, times, halftime shows and everything we know so far

Super Bowl 2022 is just over a month away, but it's never too early to find out more about the biggest NFL live streaming event of the year. Super Bowl LVI will be broadcast (or at least scheduled) from SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles next month. The reason it is "scheduled" is because the NFL is looking at possible alternative locations in preparation for restrictions on live events due to the spike in covid infections in California.

Super Bowl 2022 will be available on many quality streaming services. This means that it will be available on the Peacock streaming service as well as the NBC network.

While it is still too early to be certain about who will play in Super Bowl LVI (the top two teams to win it have been shuffling around over the past few months) there are some favorites and we will get to that under Super Bowl 2022 odds.

Also, when Super Bowl 2022 will be held and who will play the halftime show (though this is always subject to change)

Yes, Super Bowl 2022 will be held a little later than usual. This is because the teams will play regular season game 17, extending the season into week 18.

In other words, Super Bowl 2022 will be held on Sunday, February 13, 2022.

A full schedule of Super Bowl 2022 events and festivities has been scheduled, but you need to know the time to be sure of watching the game.

Good news: the time (kickoff) for Super Bowl 2022 is officially set for 6:30 PM EST / 3:30 PM PST / 11:30 PM GMT.

And since Super Bowl 2022 will be held (and scheduled) in Inglewood, California, it is only natural that the halftime show will feature two of the biggest stars who grew up near here. The Pepsi Super Bowl LVI halftime show will feature Compton native Dr. Dre and Long Beach native Snoop Dogg.

Compton's Kendrick Lamar will also perform at the halftime show. The hometown rapper will perform with Mary J. Blige and Eminem.

The halftime show, with big-name rap and R&B stars like these five, is one of the most interesting in recent history.

One thing that could change is the team that is expected to play in and win the 2022 Super Bowl. Previously, the Kansas City Chiefs were the favorite, listed at +550 (bet $100, win $550) by Caesars Sportsbook (according to CBS Sports). Behind the Mahomes-led team were the Aaron Rodgers-led Green Bay Packers at +900 and the Tom Brady-led Bucks at +1100, followed by the Ravens (+1200), Bills (+1200) and Rams (+1300).

Ah, how times have changed.

Green Bay, fresh off a five-game winning streak (they haven't lost a game in which Rodgers played since November 21), is the favorite at +400. The top 10 teams are as follows:

Stay tuned for updates as we get closer to the Super Bowl.
