Six months have passed since the release of "Thor: Love and Thunder," and while no official trailer or press art has been released yet, we are finally getting a glimpse of what the film's main characters will look like.

The first two images (shown below) appear to be promotional art depicting how Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and new Thor Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) will appear in the film. These images appear to have been released on Twitter by Marvel movie leaker ALEX RAM, and while we don't know Ram's track record with this sort of thing, they look legit to our eyes.

The rendering of Foster with a reshaped Mjolnir confirms what was already known from Marvel Comics' The Mighty Thor. Naturally, as can be seen in the pictures, Thor still has Stormbreaker: Infinity War

As Tom's Guide editor Tom Pritchard pointed out, other than the fact that Thor's gear is more purple than expected, these Thor and Mighty Thor pictures are note that they are not particularly surprising.

The third leak is more substantial, a set photo (likely a mirror selfie) showing a new look for Valkyrie. This leak, courtesy of Chris Parker (@3CFilmss), reveals that Valkyrie (last seen when Thor announced that he would be the new king of the new Asgard) has dropped the white and gold look and is wearing a black and white outfit. This outfit also has the familiar silver disks from Thor's past looks.

The likening of Valkyrie's gear to that of Thor's may be a sign that she is trying her best to fit into the lineage of Asgard's past leaders.

But she may have a problem. Eagle-eyed Reddit user u/KingEuronIIIGreyjoy noted that under the Spider-Man coverage, "Political turmoil in New Asgard as Z..." and noticed an Easter egg for "Spider-Man: No Way Home" in the news ticker.

Does New Asgard not love its new leader as much as we expect? That headline "Z... " part is expected to relate to Zeus, who is rumored to be played by Russell Crowe. Will he challenge the throne of the Valkyries? Only time will tell.
