Boiling the perfect bath just got easier thanks to Kohler's new PerfectFill system unveiled at CES 2022.

If you are like me, you need to set aside time to boil just the right bath. That's because a lukewarm tub is the best way to relax after a long day. Even if you find the perfect temperature straight from the faucet, you must also pay attention to the depth. As a result, taking a good bath is actually more tedious than one might imagine, especially when compared to taking a shower.

Kohler's PerfectFill drain system should solve that by integrating the bathtub into your smart home The PerfectFill system uses simple voice commands, or the linked Kohler Konnect app, to automatically adjust the ideal temperature and depth of the bath is automatically pulled.

This means you don't have to waste time monitoring the hot water; in fact, you don't even have to go to the bathroom to turn on the faucet. For example, you can plan in advance to take a bath while you finish your workout and stretch. In other words, there is no need to wait.

If multiple family members enjoy bathing or need cooler temperatures in the summer, up to 10 pre-set baths can be saved.

Once the bath is complete, it can be drained automatically with a simple voice command, making the experience as hassle-free as possible. All you need to do is add oil or bath bombs.

Alternatively, if voice commands are not your thing, you can use the included touchscreen digital controller. This would look impressive in any bathroom.

The only downside to the Kohler PerfectFill is that it is not cheap. Installation requires a specialist, and the system itself starts at $2,700. Therefore, it is only for people whose days revolve around the perfect bath experience (or who have a lot of money). It will definitely save time for those who love to take baths, but at such a low price, it is not particularly accessible to the broader market. Also, since it is designed to be compatible with Kohler spouts and bathtubs, you may need an entirely new bathtub to get this technology. [PerfectFill will be available to order from Kohler beginning May 2022 and will be offered as a drainage kit that includes the valve, system controller, and drain. It must be paired with a Kohler digital valve, a Kohler spout (deck or wall mounted), and a compatible Kohler bathtub.
