The NBA live stream is back and the 2021-22 season has begun. We look at two big games today: the Hawks vs. Knicks live stream, a rivalry renewed without its biggest heel, and the Nets vs. Lakers live stream, where LeBron goes on to break the record.

If you're a basketball fan and for some reason have to leave your "bubble" or suffer the dreaded local blackout, you can't watch the NBA live stream you want, but you're not out of luck. With a virtual private network, or VPN, you can pretend you are surfing the web from your hometown (or anywhere else not hit by a blackout) and access the same streaming services you have already paid for.

3. sit back and enjoy the action; go to Sling, Yahoo, or another website and watch the game.

In the United States, nationally televised NBA games are broadcast on ABC, ESPN, TNT, and NBA TV. In the past, some ABC games were also broadcast on ESPN3.

If you do not have a cable or satellite subscription, you can watch these channels on live streaming services such as Sling TV, Hulu With Live TV, Fubo TV, and DirecTV Stream (depending on region).

Of these options, we recommend Sling TV, which starts at $35/month and offers more than 50 channels, including ESPN (Orange Package); there is also TNT, which Fubo does not have; and the DirecTV Stream service, which offers more than 50 channels, including the latest in the world of live streaming.

UK basketball fans can watch NBA bubble games on Sky Sports via packages from Sky, BT, and Virgin Media. The games are broadcast live, with tip-off times from 11:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. (BST); those not on Sky Sports can watch from £9.99 on Now TV.

Britons can also get the NBA League Pass UK package, which offers NBA live streams of the playoffs and finals for £42.99.

Canadian baseball fans can watch the NBA playoffs on TSN, SportsNet, and NBA TV Canada.
