But yes, this is the Hawkeye finale we have been waiting for. In the previous episode, Kate Bishop's world fell apart as not only was the Kingpin's involvement revealed, but Kate Bishop's mother, Eleanor, was revealed to be the one who set Hawkeye up for the kill.

Hawkeye episode 5 set up the big finale, which Disney and Marvel have been teasing in trailers for some time (the latest is below). A big party in front of the giant Christmas tree at Rockefeller Plaza. And it looks like a side has formed.

Clint Barton and Kate Bishop need an ally, and I'm wondering which of the two established teenagers (read: neither purely good nor evil) we've met will defy the big boss. Echo has great potential, since she's about to have her own show (would Marvel give the villain his own show?). And Yelena? After eating mac and cheese with Kate? That would not surprise us at all.

All that's left is for Jack Duquesne to be free from custody called by Eleanor, which seems very likely. The question is, will he turn on her? Or was that phone call a ruse all along?

Some make the case that "Hawkeye had a small role and made his MCU debut here," but is there any chance that one of the characters from that movie will make an appearance here?
