Apple's 10.2-inch iPad is perfect for all kinds of work. Priced at $329, it is the cheapest tablet in Apple's lineup. Traditionally in December we would have listed the best iPad deals on Apple's 10.2-inch tablets. Unfortunately, the base iPad is nearly impossible to find in stock.

Shipping delays and chip shortages have dried up discounts across Apple's iPad line. The few Christmas deals we see on the Apple iPad are reserved for the Pro model which is also starting to sell out. So we are still rounding up all the retailers offering Apple's new tablet. Keep in mind that even if the iPad is available for purchase, there could be delays in shipping.

The biggest update to the iPad 9 is a new A13 Bionic CPU and larger storage capacity. According to Apple, this CPU is 20% more powerful. This is the same CPU found in the iPhone 11.

Meanwhile, the base model offers 64GB of storage, while the step-up model includes 256GB. In both cases, you get twice as much storage as the previous model. Apple also upgraded the front camera to 12 MP (from 1.2 MP) and added support for Center Stage, which uses machine learning to adjust the front camera during FaceTime video calls.
