"Sex and the City" is back, and in HBO Max's revival of the classic comedy, three of the four main characters, Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon), and Charlotte York Goldenblatt ( Kristin Davis) return.

Yes, Samantha Jones, played by Kim Cattrall, will not appear in the reboot (there is reportedly a long history of bad blood between Cattrall and Parker). So "Sex and the City" fans will not see Samantha, but they can follow the 50-something love and friendship between Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte.

They will do so with their husbands, children, and old friends. Chris Noth returns as Mr. Big, David Eigenberg as Steve Brady, and Evan Handler as Harry Goldenblatt. The late Willie Garson reprises his role as Carrie's gay best friend Stanford Blatch, and Mario Cantone will play Anthony Marentino.

There are some new faces mixed in with the female cast. Sara Ramirez will play Che Diaz, a non-binary, queer stand-up comedian who hosts a podcast in which Carrie appears frequently. Sarita Chowdhry plays Seema Patel, a single, accomplished Manhattan real estate broker. Nicole Ali Parker stars as Lisa Todd Wexley, a Park Avenue mother of three and documentarian. And Karen Pittman plays Dr. Niya Wallace, a brilliant and challenging Columbia Law professor.

In the US, And Just Like That is now available on HBO Max. The first two episodes premiered on Thursday, December 9.
