The new Matrix 4 trailer has the Keanu line you've been waiting to hear

The trailer for the latest "Matrix 4" film shows that while we are more than ready for the movie, Thomas "Neo" Anderson is just as ready. The second official trailer has just been released, and in Tom's Guide, you can hear a new riff on the iconic dialogue that we all know and love.

It's at the very end of the clip and does little more than remind us how far Neo has come (and how far he has to go to make things right). Because this line is sure to be a big hit at the movie theater. Check it out now:

Now, if you're anything like us, you probably had a slightly giddy reaction when Neo/Reeves said, "I still know kung fu." Reeves says this line after parkouring across a wall, landing a spinning kick, and blowing a man through the wall. This almost confirms that "Matrix Reservations" will provide the fan service that everyone has needed after all these years.

The trailer begins with a bit of history about the movie "The Matrix" and a line from Agent Smith (Hugo Weaving) ("Billions of people just go through life unnoticed"), finished off by Jonathan Groff (whose role name has not yet been revealed). This suggests that Smith is living through this new character, which is further confirmed by Groff's shout of "MISTER ANDERSON!" in the middle of the trailer. We do not know if Weaving recorded new footage for the film, but he has previously said that he was not available for the film.

Next, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (as Morpheus in "Matrix Reservations") seems to be offering Neo a chance (again) to break through the Matrix. Neo then appears in the white room seen above and begins to remember what he had forgotten. More sparring between Neo and this new Morpheus is depicted, and the news comes that a war is coming.

There are two different answers to this big question. Weaving told Collider that he was approached to return and said, "Lana was very eager to be involved [in "Matrix 4"]. Lana was very keen for me to be involved [in The Matrix 4].

Unfortunately, he explained, "I was working on a play at the time, but I had adjusted my schedule and such so that I could do both. And then Lana decided she didn't want to change her schedule, so we couldn't do it."

As for why Laurence Fishburne will not appear in "Matrix 4"? The answer to that question has not exactly been made public; Collider got the scoop again. Fishburne said, "It makes sense to ask that. You'd have to ask [Matrix 4 director] Lana Woschowski why."
