Hawkeye Show Cast, trailer, and everything you know so far

It's almost time for "Hawkeye," coming soon to Disney Plus. A new Hawkeye trailer has been released, revealing an updated episode schedule and a new plotline. No offense to Jeremy Renner, but he is not the main reason we are excited.

But before we go any further, we have to let you know that our review of Hawkeye is up now. And after watching the latest episode, check out our review and recap of Hawkeye episode 3 to get ready for Hawkeye episode 4.

Yes, like many heroes who survived "The Avengers": Hawkeye is one of many Marvel superheroes who will be rewarded with their own follow-up project in Phase 4 of the MCU. And speaking of Phase 4, Hawkeye's episode 5 makes me giddy for MCU Phase 4.

Simply titled Hawkeye, the series focuses on one of the character's best outings, which happened in the comics (which you should go read after you finish watching the Marvel movies for the umpteenth time in sequence).

That comic book series featured a new Hawkeye in training: Kate Bishop (played by Hailee Steinfeld). And now we have a release date for Hawkeye and his place in the upcoming Marvel movies and shows.

The show stars the Hawkeye we know and love, but the series is expected to focus on the new Hawkeye. What makes this change necessary? We speculate that Clint Barton is ready to hang up his bow and arrow after the events of Endgame.

Other shows in the fourth Disney Plus season include the beloved Loki and Wander Vision, as well as Falcon and Winter Soldier.

And there will also be a Wanda Vision spin-off focusing on Agatha Harkness. Even Hawkeye's show character, Echo, gets her own show. If Hawkeye fans' new theory is correct, the show may be bigger than expected.

On November 12, Marvel released a major feature on the upcoming show in honor of Disney Plus Day. In a clip from Hawkeye, Kate Bishop explained that she felt she was destined to become Hawkeye, and Burton warned against this path. The wonderfully hilarious action continues and can be seen on Disney Plus.

The trailer for Hawkeye, released on October 14, revealed that the Burton family was temporarily split up after an attack. It also indicated that the first two episodes would debut on the 24th.

The first Hawkeye Show trailer revealed that this was a Christmas show. Clint Barton is then brought back into the action as he discovers that someone seemingly impersonating Hawkeye/Ronin is fighting crime on the streets.

We've been waiting for a release date for "Hawkeye" and it was revealed to be Wednesday, November 24, 2021. Both the first and second episodes will be released on that date.

Marvel Studios' vice president of film production confirmed (h/t Variety) that the series will be released by the end of the year, along with "Ms. Marvel" (release date TBD).

The most recent Marvel Disney Plus series is the animated show "What If." on August 11, 2021.

"Shang Princess" in September, "Eternals" and "Hawkeye" in November, and "Spider-Man: No Way Home" in December.

Marvel's fall lineup is very crowded, with "Thor 4: Love and Thunder" awaiting in 2023.

The Christmas spirit is being lifted with this poster with the tagline "This holiday season the best gifts come with a bow." Pizza dog Lucky, who was not in the trailer, can also be seen in this poster.

Hawkeye somehow survived "The Avengers:" Since Hawkeye somehow survived "Avengers/Endgame" (Black Widow, your sacrifice was appreciated), Jeremy Renner reprises his role as Clint Barton.

Variety first reported that Hailee Steinfeld, who voiced Spider-Gwen in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, was in the running for the role of Kate Bishop, which she won. In Matt Fraction's critically acclaimed Hawkeye comic, Burton and Bishop both take on the name Hawkeye, with Burton mentoring the younger Hawkeye.

Actor Hula Fee admitted on his Instagram that he will be playing Kazimierz Kazimierzak, aka Clown. The clown is a mercenary who hunts down Burton. Clown works for the tracksuit Dracula (a member of the Mafia whom Burton takes over his position).

Burton's family, Linda Cardellini (who played Clint's wife Laura) and Eva Russo, Ben Sakamoto, and Cade Woodward (who played their children, Lila, Cooper, and Nathaniel respectively) also appear.

A major Hawkeye fan theory speculates that Vincent D'Onofrio may return as Kingpin.

Other cast members include Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez, better known as Echo for her connection to "Daredevil." Zahn McClarnon plays Maya's father, William Lopez. [According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jonathan Igla of Mad Men will write the script for Hawkeye.

And now we have casting details, but watch out for Black Widow spoilers.

Yes, Florence Pugh will play Yelena Belova in Hawkeye, but she is not here to befriend Natasha's former teammate, as explained in a post-credit scene in Black Widow. She has been told by Contessa Valentina Allegra de la Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) that Burton is responsible for the Black Widow's death (which is not how we remember Vormire) and wants her to take Hawkeye out.

Early reports from Variety informed us about the plot of Hawkeye. Hawkeye will reportedly focus on Clint Barton training Kate Bishop to replace him as Hawkeye.

The series is also rumored to reveal more about Hawkeye's time as Ronin, which was briefly explored in Avengers: Endgame.

Just recently, leaked set photos provided further evidence of this.

We now know that Hawkeye's schedule has changed slightly. This means that the show will end a week early, a week before The Book of Boba Fett debuts on December 29.

Twitter user @cosmic_marvel shared a (deleted) shot of Steinfeld on set. Eagle-eyed readers will notice that she has a variety of tools for attaching arrowheads.

Another leaked photo (from Just Jared) appears to be from the soundstage and shows Steinfeld in formal attire against a green screen.
