Google Pixel6 upgrade will help you see more at a glance

According to 9to5Google's Code Dive, the Google Pixel 6's "At a Glance" note system will add more features.

A key feature of the Pixel series, the system will work with Google Assistant to display timely notifications on the lock screen and home screen based on time, date, and location. For example, if you have a meeting scheduled in Google Calendar that will take an hour, At a Glance will pop up and advise you when you need to leave if you are on time.

Currently, Pixel 6 has several of these features that can be turned on or off according to one's preference. These are "commute and leave times" (taking into account factors such as live traffic), weather, inclement weather alerts, travel information including flight information scraped from Gmail, upcoming events, and your work profile.

However, 9to5Google found references to eight new features in the latest build of the Android Systems Intelligence app. Some of these are old, or at least semi-old news. For example, the inclusion of timer and stopwatch information from the Clock app has been present throughout the Android 12 beta. And we got a little glimpse of the "At a store" feature in the Material You teaser trailer embedded below. Basically, when it detects that you are in a store, it displays a shortcut to your shopping list and loyalty card.

But other features are entirely new and very useful. For example, "Connected Devices" tells you the connection status and battery information of connected Bluetooth devices.

There will also likely be a widget specifically designed to work with Google's Nest doorbell, and activity from the fitness app will benefit from Google's acquisition of Fitbit.

Finally, your "bedtime" information will likely be taken from the Clock app to give you a light warning that it is time to go down.

None of these features are yet operational at this time. It is also not clear if these features will be offered to the broader Pixel family or if they will be limited to the newest flagships.
