OnePlus10Pro rendering shows a huge camera bump

Update: New leaks of the OnePlus 10 Pro suggest a number of major upgrades.

A batch of new renders of the OnePlus 10 Pro reveal what we might expect from the 2022 flagship. While images of the upcoming phone suggest that it will retain much of what makes OnePlus unique, this potential look of the OnePlus 10 features a new design as if it were pulled directly from the Samsung Galaxy S21.

This batch of fresh renders, courtesy of Zouton and OnLeaks, show off the OnePlus 10 Pro in exquisite detail, and Zouton is not sure if this is an official rendered image leaked from OnePlus staff or a rumor about the device Tom's Guide has not been able to independently confirm the authenticity of these renderings, but OnLeaks has a good reputation for obtaining early phone information.

Much of what can be seen here is commonplace for OnePlus phones, including the hole-punch camera on the front of the device and the physical mute switch (usually reserved for Apple devices) that has become synonymous with the lineup in recent years.

But what stands out most about the OnePlus Pro 10 in these renders is its camera bump, which is eerily reminiscent of that of Samsung's Galaxy S21. Of course, this all depends on whether the renderings are true.

The OnePlus 10 Pro's camera bump does not extend all the way to the top of the back like the S21's, but it is still certainly inspired by Samsung's 2021 flagship model. Of course, this design is widely loved by Samsung users, so it is only natural that OnePlus enthusiasts would appreciate it as well.

Internally, the OnePlus Pro 10 will likely be powered by a brand new Snapdragon 898, which is expected to bring improvements in speed and power consumption; the 6.7-inch OLED display will run at up to 120Hz, and the 5,000 mAh battery will be capable of 125W charge, according to reports.

According to Android Police, the OnePlus 10 Pro is currently being tested in Europe and China, with an official launch expected in January or February 2022. However, it is reasonable to assume that we will see further renderings and more information about the phone before then.
