But Panera's all-you-can-drink coffee membership (MyPanera+) offers a free cup of hot or iced coffee every two hours for just $8.99 per month. But now you can try this new service for free through the end of the year.

Considering that an average cup costs about $2, this is a significant savings. Aside from the free trial, you would need to drink 5 cups of coffee a month to get the money back.

Not only that, but if you are an Amex cardholder, your free trial is extended to 6 months. Any American Express customer is eligible for this promotion. Thereafter, a standard free trial will be offered until the end of 2021, followed by another six months of free drinks.

Coffee lovers should look out for the standard free trial, even if they do not have an American Express card. Unfortunately, neither offer includes specialty drinks, but topping up every two hours will provide a free daily dose of caffeine.

That said, it is well worth getting in on this campaign early. The free trial period ends December 31, so the sooner you sign up, the more you save. If you do not wish to continue the service after the trial period, remember to cancel when the period ends.
