Update: The iPhone 14 may be Apple's first notch-free flagship in five years.

The iPhone 14 may finally include a feature that we wish had been included in the iPhone 13 series. However, this Touch ID upgrade could be reserved for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max if this rumor proves correct.

According to leaker @LeaksApplePro on Twitter via iDrop News, a Q&A about the iPhone 14 predicts that Touch ID could be included in the iPhone 14 Pro lineup under the display. However, the leaker is cautious, saying that the feature is still in testing and that it is "unclear" whether we will eventually see this feature.

Unfortunately, no source for this information was provided, but we have seen previous reports that Touch ID will be on the iPhone 14; the Q&A has more on what could be on the iPhone 14, and what could be on other Apple products in 2022. and more about what could be in other Apple products in 2022.

LeaksApplePro agrees with other reports that the iPhone 14 mini will not appear in 2022. And we have heard this from several other sources. Rumors suggest that Apple may be preparing a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max along with the regular 6.1-inch iPhone 14. It is no secret that the iPhone 12 mini suffered poor sales before the iPhone 13 mini hit the market.

Another major upgrade said to be coming to the iPhone 14 Pro model is a punch-hole display; Jon Prosser previously made this prediction for the iPhone 14, but LeaksApplePro believes this design change will be limited to the Pro and Pro Max. The regular iPhone 14 series will likely keep the notch.

If the rumors prove true, the iPhone 14 could be headed for the biggest design change since the iPhone X launched in 2017. This could include a flatter back without a prominent camera bump. We have also heard that the iPhone 14 may feature a more powerful 4nm processor.

LeaksApplePro's Q&A also mentioned several other possible 2022 Apple products. According to the leaker, a new M1 Max iMac will be available "around week 12." Apple may also add a mini LED display to the M2 MacBook Air and raise the price. The bad news is that we should not expect the AirPods Pro 2 "too soon."

Last but not least, the report again claims that Apple is testing two different foldable phones. One of them is apparently "very similar to the Galaxy Flip" and the other is "very similar to the Galaxy Fold."

LeaksApplePro says not to expect an iPhone Flip-type device until 2023.
