Update Samsung Galaxy S21 FE full specs appear to have been leaked.

The release date and timing of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE and Samsung Galaxy S22 seem to be becoming clearer. We had a basic idea that the two devices would launch in January and February, respectively, but a leaker posted the exact date the devices could be announced and launched.

The Samsung Galaxy 21 FE is expected to be unveiled at a Samsung Unpacked event on January 4, 2022, and the Samsung Galaxy S22 will be revealed at another Samsung Unpacked event on February 8. This is according to Jon Prosser, who has a fairly reliable track record.

In the same tweet, Prosser posted that the S21 FE will be available on January 11, with no pre-order period, and that the S22 will be available for pre-order on February 8 and will be available starting February 18. There is another rumor that Samsung's Galaxy S22 lineup is going to increase in price, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra is going to increase in price considerably, so you may want to be careful when pre-ordering the Galaxy S22.

The S21FE announcement is said to coincide with the opening of CES 2022, which makes sense, as Samsung is hoping to draw attention at the biggest tech conference of the year, which will be held directly after a year-long hiatus due to Covid.

According to Prosser, the S22's launch date is roughly a month away, a few weeks before the Mobile World Congress, which opens on February 28.

Prosser's tweet seems to confirm the prediction leaked by SamMobile in early October that the S21 FE would arrive in January and the S22 in February. Prosser had reported last week that reservations for the S22 would begin in February, which would give the S21 FE a bit of leeway.

Like the Samsung Galaxy 20 FE before it, the S21 "Fan Edition" phone will likely feature the same Snapdragon 888 chip and 120Hz display as the S21, but with a less premium design and downgraded camera . Last year's S20 FE cost $699, while the Galaxy S21's starting price is $799, and will be even cheaper if you get the Black Friday specials.

The Galaxy S22 series is said to consist of three models: the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Pro, and Galaxy S22 Ultra. The regular S22 and S22 Pro are said to feature smaller displays and upgraded 50MP cameras; the S22 Ultra may inherit some design features from the Note line, notably an internal slot to house the S Pen.

The S22 series is rumored to be powered by a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 895 processor, with the international version featuring an Exynos 2200 chip and AMD's RDNA 2 architecture-based GPU.
