7-Eleven Launches Latest Sustainable Coffee Options

7-Eleven launched 7-Reserve Premium Coffee this week for a limited time. This new product features a bright flavor due to the use of Guatemalan beans. It is the first 7-Eleven 7-Reserve coffee to come from the Huehuetenango region, and the volcanic soil and high altitude blend into the beans, resulting in a flavor that is highly aromatic and leaves a sweet aftertaste. [7-Eleven Reserve's premium coffees, available at the same price as 7-Eleven's other coffees, are Rainforest Alliance certified, developed from sustainably sourced Arabica beans. These popular beans are grown, processed, and sold in the same region, keeping profits local and reducing harm to the environment. [Jacob Burns, Senior Product Director of Proprietary Beverages at 7-Eleven, said, "These coffee beans are grown on small farms in micro-regions known for their high-quality coffee and sustainable farming practices. The 7-Reserve Guatemala is perfect for those looking for a bold cup to start their morning, or for those looking for a bit of a departure from their usual coffee, without going to an outrageously priced coffee shop."

Rather than offering a simple morning coffee, 7-Eleven has built a strong repertoire of sustainably sourced premium coffees since 2016. The new Reserve single-origin coffees are regularly introduced in select stores nationwide and have spanned Rainforest Alliance-certified coffees from El Salvador, Mexico, Peru, Colombia, and Kenya.
